A Year In The Life – 2016
“We spend January 1st walking through our lives, room by room drawing up a list of work to be done, cracks to be patched. Maybe this year, to balance the list we ought to walk through the rooms of our lives. ..not looking for flaws, but for potential.” ~Ellen Goodman I had posted this as a goal for 2016. If 2016 has taught me anything it has been to enjoy the process & not so much on the end result. As I reflect back on the last 12 months ( I started by reading this post) A peek at 2015 I realize that 2015 was mainly about adjusting to a decision to move to the Oregon coast. Looking back I can see that 2016 has been learning how to experience a deeper sense of connection to my choices in life. Life as Adventure
Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage by the Sea. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡ How was your first week of 2016? So far so good on my end. Christmas is put away for a year. A new little birdhouse wreath decor for January has been lovingly placed. And, of course my fresh new calendar is up. I purchased it at a shop in Nantucket “last” October. 2015. Wow! Seems like such a long time ago now. Nantucket was part of a two week vacation my husband and I had taken, shortly after moving to the Oregon coast “last July”. I’m so glad we chose to do this wonderful trip.
