Happy Friday! Today I thought I’d pretend that I’m serving tea at a country home in the South of France. (sweet grin) I’ve traveled through France. .. Just not the Southern part. ..♡
I’m exited because a very close friend of mine is coming overt for dinner! Well. . actually she’s coming over in just a little while, so I’ve got to write this post Lickety split!
We are going to check out one of my favorite little antique shops in the whole wide world. (Big smile)
Then we will head back to the South of France, (smile) aka “Marcia’s Cottage” where I will prepare a special salmon dinner for my wonderful husband and guest. Can I share a little secret. .. there’s actually no place I’d rather be, than here at our little cottage. Anyway I’m wondering if you ever pretend you are somewhere else. ..I sure hope so! Because it’s delightfully fun! I told my friend that she should stay the evening… and pretend that SHE’S at a bed and breakfast. (giggle, giggle) She said she’d think about it. Yeah!
I want to be a really good friend right now, because my friend is going through some difficult times. Sometimes I don’t know what to say, or do… so I open my heart and home and show my love. Sometimes it’s the best, and all I can do. I’m sad to say that the sometimes frantic pace and casual attitudes of modern life, have made “real” friendship a rare ( and possibly endangered) experience. Good true friendships enhance my life. I NEED them. I’m wondering if you sometimes feel this way too..something tells me you do. ♡I cherish this friendship. ♡Always have, always will. ♡
