The adventure began at the McCall Boutique Inn, a cozy bed and breakfast nestled in the heart of Ashland, Oregon.
Upon arriving at McCall Boutique Inn, we were instantly smitten with its picturesque surroundings. The Inn exudes a quaint and welcoming atmosphere, making it the perfect base for our adventure.
The warm, welcoming decor and attentive hosts created an inviting atmosphere that set the tone for our enchanting weekend.
We checked in for the ‘Room with a Boo’ package, an intriguing blend of history and mystery.
This package promised an unforgettable experience, combining a haunted tour of the historic Ashland streets with an evening theatre performance.
Our guide shared spine-tingling stories of ghostly encounters and local legends, casting an eerie but exhilarating spell over us. Whether or not you believe in ghosts, this tour was a fascinating glimpse into Ashland’s rich history.
To round off our unforgettable day, we dined at ‘Hearsay’…a local restaurant that delighted our taste buds.
The restaurant’s exquisite cuisine and charming ambiance provided the perfect ending to our thrilling day.
The highlight of our getaway was undoubtedly the evening theater performance. We were treated to Agatha Christie’s ‘Poirot: The Murder of Roger Ackroyd’, a classic whodunit brought to life with remarkable talent and captivating drama.
Ashland is an ideal destination for leisurely exploration. The town’s compact layout makes it perfect for strolling and sightseeing. I spent an afternoon wandering through charming streets, enjoying boutique shopping, and immersing myself in the local culture.
A significant highlight of our getaway was that we didn’t have to leave our furry friend, Camille, behind. McCall Boutique Inn is pet-friendly, and Ashland welcomes dogs with open arms. Camille’s tail-wagging enthusiasm provided an extra layer of joy to our adventure…and nothing short of magical.
