WhAt iF….♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

How’s your week going so far….Ha! It’s got to be going pretty good, it’s only Tuesday…

I wanted to tell you a little bit about my weekend.

My husband and I flew to the Oregon Coast. This is where we have a small little beach cottage.

It was built in 1946. So, it’s a little younger that the one we live in right now. *wink

We actually purchased it the same year we purchased our home in California.

We have been fortunate to have had a renter all these years.

However, lately  we have been visiting it more frequently….and loving every minute. It is a perfect getaway.  My husband and I feel so fortunate to have it. It has become one of our blessings.

Of course we took Cami…(our youngest furry child) Of course.

She was perfect too.

I really had planned on sharing more about a beautiful perfect weekend. However, I decided to also share about a beautiful memorial service I attended yesterday.  Our friend had been ill for quite some time. He came from a large family. There are many siblings,  aunts, uncles,  cousins, nieces, nephews, and adorable grandchildren. They are a beautiful close loving family. They were hoping, and praying for their husband/father/friend to get better. He did not get better…however, as difficult as the year had been they are closer as a family. I admire their courage, strength, faith, and love. It’s difficult to lose someone you love. So much in life is a mystery…and yet there’s no doubt in my mind this family is truly blessed.

Blessings come in so many ways. Sometimes, they are obvious, and are packaged all pretty, and perfect like my weekend getaway to the coast. And, sometimes they come in ways we could never imagine…..♡

                                            Xoxo. ..
