MoNdAy MuSiNgS…ThE KiTcHeN…♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

Happy Monday! Did you have a great weekend?  I certainly hope so!

I will have to share mine in bits, and pieces throughout the week. Because, it was absolutely f.a.b.u.l.o.u.s!

And, there is just sooooo much to share. Of, course what else is new…(grin)

Besides, today is Marcia’s Cottage Monday Musings.

And, I would like to share our country french like kitchen with my dear readers. you.

When I am in my kitchen, I often pretend that I’m in France. Ha!

Do you ever do things like that? Where do you pretend to be?

I always put on my favorite apron, favorite french music and begin cooking, or baking away!

Okay, sometimes I have to do MAJOR cleaning too. (pout)

This is the second Monday Musings. Last week I covered the “cabin” part of the cottage. Here’s the link just in case you missed it.https://marciascottagebythesea.com/2014/09/welcoming-home-monday-musings/ Not to be redundant…but I try to post a video before the Monday musings post. I haven’t learned how to link it to my blog. So, if you have liked my FB page…then you have access to viewing it. So, LIKE my page. just kidding (giggle)

Okay so here is my adorable country french kitchen. Ooops… Sorry, it’s dark. I forgot to turn the light back on. (grin)

It’s very quaint, quirky, country chic. Perfect for me. And, I guess that is what is important for every room in your home.

Make it comfortable, and livable for you, and whom ever you share it with. Oh, and of course your visitors.

By today’s standards my kitchen is on the smaller size.

But, that’s ok. because that’s what makes it cozy. And, of course I like cozy. Of course.

Have a glorious week. …♡

                                                                                     xoxo…

                                                                                    Marcia

Marcia’s Cottage Tips:

*Light a candle in your kitchen. It helps you to see your kitchen duties in a whole new light. (grin)
*Let your kitchen decor change with the seasons: golden-colored pumpkins and chrysanthemums are perfect for the fall.
*I love to have little lamps in my kitchen. It’s a nice way of adding warm points of light.
*seasonal cotton dish towels make beautiful napkins, placemats, or even cafe curtains. I made the curtains in our little kitchen window with a small remnant I had.
* I like to keep olive oil in a pretty decanter by my cooktop. Since I use it frequently in most of my cooking.
* More, and more I try to keep my kitchen counters free of clutter. It makes the room look more spacious, and then you’ll be more inspired to spend time there. *wink*wink
