Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
Or perhaps a tall iced tea, and a morning swim instead….♡
Happy Sunday! What a nice lunch I had yesterday, I got to spend a little time with a friend and celebrate her 21st birthday. okay, there were 2 truths, and one lie in that sentence.
*wink*wink
Remember the game “Two Truths and a Lie?” Wanna play. ..What would be your two truths and a lie? Awwww....come on, you can do it! Please…..okay, here’s one about me…
1. I learned how to swim as a child while vacationing in Mexico City.
2. When my family moved to Brea, Ca. my father had a pool built immediately.
3. I’m part mermaid……♡
Okay, so anyway, after a most delightful lunch yesterday celebrating my friends 21st birthday I got into my car…and melted!
It was SO hot!
And, unfortunately, I had a few errands that I kind of sort of needed to do.
One was to return a purchase to Ross (yes, I DO sometimes shop there) and, note to self: never, ever purchase anything without trying it on first. Repeat…never.
Then, I was thinking about dropping a few packages off at the post office. But, oddly, all I could think about was the color blue.
I tried to stay focus on those errands….but, as hard as I tried…the more I saw blue.
Then as if by magic I found myself throwing down the towel, and went swimming in my neighbor’s pool.
Years ago, when we first moved to our cottage, my neighbor heard that I was part mermaid..loved the water and mentioned to my husband that we were welcomed to use his pool anytime.
Now, all our neighbors are pretty awesome people, (of course) but this generous invitation was over the top for a mermaid someone like me. Anyway, I was wondering if you came up with your own 2 truths, and a lie yet? NO? Well, okay I’ll fess up to mine. Can you keep a secret? #3 is a teeny, tiny, itsy, bitsy, lie…..I’m a mermaid. (grin)
Happy Sunday…
xoxo….
