This month is passing by…some days I don’t EVEN know where the day went. Does this happen to you my friend?
If it does, then we are definitely soul sisters. 
However some mornings when I wake up I look around the room and I think, How good is this day. I am moved by the light streaming in from a window. ♡
As my eyes scan the walls, I feel contentment in the lemon yellow, blue, spring green, pink (smile) and lilac colors in our paintings, our bed covers, and the flowers.
This is an acrylic painting of a beautiful little garden. I have it in one of the upstairs rooms. I bought it years ago at the most charmingly quirky store in the city of Orange. The store is called Victoria & Co. Perhaps you have been there. I LOVE the owner. Her name is Donna. I have known her forever. ♡The painting is special. ..a friend who was with me that day, said “oh you must get this, it looks just like your garden!” Well. .. actually it just “resembles it. Anyway it became mine. (Big grin)♡
This is a much smaller piece of art. I liked it because it resembles our upstairs bedroom. Let’s zoom in Shall we…

Here we go! Don’t you think it resembles the painting a little? Can I share a little secret with you my friend? Sometimes when I see something I like. ..I mean REALLY like, I try to recreate it. Especially when I’m decorating. I enjoy the warmth of home very much.. so when I experience something that gives me a warm cozy feeling, I want to create it. I’m wondering if you ever do that sort of thing too…♡ I hope so because after all isn’t that what soul sisters do.

Ok.. Just one more Art as life share, and then I must be scooting. The art above was purchased in Carmel many years ago. I met the artist and of course she signed her wonderful little sketch book for me.
