In the pursuit of wanderlust, I often find myself dreaming of far-off lands and exotic destinations.
However, I have also learned there are hidden treasures waiting to be discovered right in my own backyard.
While the allure of distant lands is undeniable, exploring the beauty close to home offers a host of advantages…
from unveiling hidden gems and embracing convenience to connecting with local culture and supporting the local economy.
At times when I feel the call of adventure, I will embark on a journey to my favorite nearby destination Shore Acres State Park…
allowing myself to be captivated by the wonders of stunning coastal views, manicured gardens, and rugged cliffs.
Once a private estate Shore Acres transformed to a state park to preserve and maintain its natural beauty, and stands as a prime example of the wonders that lie just a short distance away…remembering sometimes the greatest adventures are waiting right outside my front door.
Loved the song and looked up their album I love this place we call home and feel there is such beauty around every bend….. if you look for it ! I love to travel,mostly to see grands… and that is beauty in itself!! Thank you for new treasures !
