💗Olga/My Mother/Mother’s Day🌸

“Mother is a verb. It’s something you do. Not just who you are.”

– Dorothy Canfield Fisher

Mother’s Day is a special day dedicated to honoring and celebrating all the mothers out there who have played an integral role in shaping our lives. For some, it’s a time to share stories and memories with the mothers who are still with us, while for others, it’s a time to remember and cherish the memories of those who have passed away, like Olga.

My mother Olga was a kind and gentle woman who was the backbone of her home and family. Her dedication to her family was unwavering, and she was always there to support and guide her 5 children through life’s ups and downs. Olga was known for her discipline and was the pillar of strength for her family.

As time goes by, memories of Olga continue to be cherished, and her role in the family becomes more appreciated. The small acts of kindness and love that she showed her family during her life have left a lasting impression. Her unwavering love and support for her family will always be remembered.

On Mother’s Day, it’s important to remember the role that mothers like Olga play in shaping our lives. They sacrifice so much for their families and make countless sacrifices to ensure their children have everything they need to succeed in life. It’s a day to celebrate and honor all the hard-working and dedicated mothers who have made an impact on our lives.

As we celebrate Mother’s Day this year, let’s take a moment to remember and cherish the memories of all the mothers who have passed away, like Olga. Their love and guidance will always be remembered, and their legacy will continue to live on through their families.

One of my favorite memories was when my mother,Averil,my sister MaryJo would gather together and go buy flowers ! Where ever we could find them in and around our area! Walport,Drain,Glide,Roseburg, and anywhere else! The best thing was how much laughter was in the car! I was always able to get then going! . Then the day arrived….my husband and my boys were always there(‍) to get everything ready…they were mostly glad to go to church before as a reprieve…..the torture began..and straw boss(me)…gave the commands! My oldest to this day sends me texts that how sorry he cannot be there for this weekend of FUN!‍‍
