My FrIdAy ShArE & LeT’s GeT OrGaNiZeD!

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

When I was a teacher, Friday was our classroom “SHARE” day. Kids were allowed to bring “ONE” share item. Sometimes, they would try to sneak in more than one item, and I would have to thank them for sharing…and call on the next child. It’s a good thing, this isn’t the classroom. And, I hope you can visit a while, because today is Friday…and I have L.O.T.S to “SHARE”!

First, I just have to show you ALL the Mother’s Day cards I received from my little kiddos.

Teah’s card had a mixer on it. …she l.O.V.E.S to eat bake.

The card from Earl, had a picture of a bathtub. He h.a.t.e.s getting groomed.
Darjeeling’s card was p.u.u.r.f.e.c.t. Just like her.
Cami’s was extra special too.
And, this year, my husband even gave me a card.  He said it’s because I’m always bossing him  I take such good care of him. (wink)

Okay, so this week has definitely been a work, work, work week. No, I haven’t returned to teaching…and no….didn’t get a real job, or anything like that.(silly, silly)

I’ve just been organizing, and clearing out a few more things around here.

There’s nothing, and I do mean nothing like getting ready for a BIG move….

to get you motivated, and clean out all those things that you have been putting off.

So, this week I conquered round one of clearing out a few bathroom drawers,

and round two for decluttering my main closet area.

I weeded out a few more items of clothing that haven’t been worn in the last year. Sadly, I even found an outfit that  I have NEVER worn!

which went right into the donation bag. A few pairs of shoes, and a couple of small handbags. (Btw, our cat Darjeeling isn’t getting donated) (giggle)

The master bathroom has a built-in dresser

I’ve organized toiletries on the top shelves,

then went through each drawer and inventoried what I had, what I used, and what I could get rid of.

It took an afternoon of serious work, and voila! I was finished.

I actually got rid of so much that I ended up with an empty drawer. Wow….that’s amazing! Glad I finished before the weekend, because we have our second Open House scheduled. And, of course I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the right buyer to arrive just in time for a summer move in.  Yippee! Wish me luck!

Here’s a “SHARE” day in the life of my decluttering!

Oh,  I almost forgot that my last “SHARE’ is…after decluttering, and editing through my clothes, I found many ways to wear/use what I had. I  thought it would be fun to post a “What I wear on Fridays” using a limited number of pieces from my wardrobe.

Sooo….Here’s the first WIWOF…♡

and below is the second…I promise, promise, promise….we are coming to the end of my FRIDAY’S SHARE….(grin)

Alright I think I’m finished sharing. Oh! Wait a second…I just remembered I wanted to share a sweet little recipe with you too.

Cream 1/2 cup butter and 1 cup sugar.
Beat 2 eggs and add to the above mixture.
Fold in 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour, plus 1 3/3 tsp. baking powder, and 1/2 cup milk, plus 2 tsp. vanilla extract alternately.
Pour in a greased pan.
bake for 20-25 minutes in a preheated oven at 350

1/2 cup butter, softened
4 1/2 cups confectioner’s sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
5 tablespoons 2% milk

Cream butter, until light and fluffy. Then beat in the confectioners’ sugar, vanilla and milk. Turn speed up to HIGH for 2-3 minutes to make frosting super fluffy! Yields: about 3 cups

Ooopsie…just one more thing. I’m a YouTuber, and my channel is Marcia’s Cottage. If you find you have a little more time…you just might want to check out my other De-cluttering Vlogs.

On the decluttering our storage closet, (below) I noticed I said “fine tooth” of course I meant to say “fine tune” ha! ha! must of been thinking of my teeth…

Okay…That’s all folks!

Cheers to your weekend!
