Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
I hope you had a great week. Mine flew by. So many wonderful things have happened since we last chatted. I don’t know where to begin. ..
I’ve been pondering what to chat about. I could share so many “little” stories.
For instance I could share the story about how I came across a sweet new apron. It’s a fun little story. I’m sure you’d like it.
Or I could chat about an invitation for tea at a new friends beautiful cottage home. …that would take a long time though.
Maybe you’d like to see more of my lovely walks on the beach. ..
or perhaps the garden, where I’m trying to improve what I can, and make it my own.
I’d love to tell you all about a great thrift shop I discovered. You would love it!
Hmmm….and, it would take f.o.r.e.v.e.r to tell you about all the painting that’s going on around my new sweet cottage.
I almost forgot to mention there’s a sweet story about the piano that was given to me. (Of course it’s funny too)
Oh, and of I have a wonderfully funny story about my first 4 th of July on the coast. It’ sooooo funny! For sure a laugh out loud, tears rolling down your eyes kind of funny. It definitely need lots of time to share that one.
Well, okay these stories will just have to wait. Since I’m not at home, more than likely I’m in California saying good-bye to family and friends. (teary-eyes)
Oh, and, yes. .. I’ve also been learning the ins, and outs of my new website. Which means since I haven’t a Computer, I’m doing all my writing on a smartphone/phablet. C.h.a.l.l.e.n.g.i.n.g. And, thank goodness for Kelly, my Web designer who works really hard to make sure these Friday posts get published. Thanks Kelly!
So, how’s about if we take a virtual walk through my new coastal town instead?
I thought you’d really enjoy experiencing children’s art displayed from local elementary schools.
Go get your jacket. I’ll wait…. Sometimes it’s a little breezy.
Okay let’s go! When I first saw this art, I was so touched by all the creativity.
A reminder that we can start from anywhere and create a piece of art. ..whether it be with paint, music, fabric, food, or of course even our homes. I think that’s great, dont you! Lets face it…. it’s the simple things in life that inspire, and bring the most joy to our lives.
Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive, and go out and do that, because what the world needs is more people who have come alive.
