It’s a beautiful morning…♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡  Shall we have a Wednesday morning cup of tea. …♡

It’s such a beautiful morning, I thought this pretty little tea set would be perfect.♡

I have a special little day planned. A friend of mine is visiting from out of town, and we planned an afternoon for tea.

This photo was from Kathy’s last visit a couple of years ago. She no longer lives in California. .. so its nice to be able to visit when she’s here. It’s times like these that I really appreciate not working, and  having the freedom during the week. A simple little pleasure that makes me SO grateful. ♡

As much as I LOVE hosting tea parties, I certainly enjoy spending an afternoon being served by others too.♡Again another simple pleasure to be very grateful for.

I always get inspired when I go to a tearoom. I enjoy getting wonderful ideas for different ways to set the table, plan a menu,  and create an atmosphere for a delightful afternoon.

I’m looking forward to a wonderful experience.
I’m wondering if you have visited a special tearoom before…♡ I sure hope so!

I use to have a super duper favorite…. It was called the Buttercup Cottage. Oh I just swooned over that place. I have the best memories. … Aren’t I lucky!

Well I must get going. .. because I have a special treat of a day waiting for me.♡

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have a beautiful day.♡

                                          Xoxo. …

    Hi Marcia,
I instantly noticed the beautiful cup and tea pot at the top of the blog..love it!
It looks like Royal Albert, is it? And is the pattern name marked on it? I would love to know it’s name.
    Thanks for your consideration,
    Barbara in Ohio

Hi Barbara! Welcome is so nice to see you here. Unfortunately, I’m not sure I will be very much help. I moved to the Oregon coast a year ago (From Southern California ) and gave away or sold everything. Including my tea accessories. I can’t remember if that particular set wad Royal Albert. I had quite a collection. It’s very possible it was though since I did own several sets of RA. I hope your able to find out. Thanks for stopping by! Xo
