Happy Wednesday! It is Wednesday right? I’ve been busy around here.
As you know our home is on the market. What you didn’t know! okay, so you better read this hmmm… sorry, I’ve been having some techy problems this morning. Just click on “Goodbye Hello” on the left side, and you’ll get all caught up with what’s happening in my corner of the world. Anyway, I’ve been getting ready for a few people to check out our home later this week.
Just between you and me…I’ve been rather taking my sweet time on saying goodbye to our cottage.
So, yesterday I started off my day with the usual walk. It’s sort of M-F routine. I usually get out early. However, the weather was quite nice…
so, of course I took my sweet little time. Perhaps that how I lost a day.
Well, anyway…I had been expecting a friend to stop by and pick up a few garden things that I no longer wanted. She cancelled out, and I decided to do a little more work on the seating area of our outside deck.
I got the paint out, and started scraping off the old chipped paint. The sun was shining brightly.
Self: “Was that a drop of Rain?” Self: “yes, that was a HUGE drop of Rain.”
Since it rarely rains here, I continued to paint.
I must admit my little painting assistant was getting concerned. So she did what all smart, cute, furry kids do.
“bark, bark, growl, growl..” translation “Head for cover, and fast!”
So I did what all good mommies of furry kids do. Took her inside, and held her the rest of the storm.
Wait, did I say storm? But, it doesn’t rain in California.
