Labor Day had a different reality this year as we moved into a new neighborhood.

The home that motivated such a quick decision or so it appeared…

Sweet peas…

was a home I believe I fell in love with when we first moved to the Oregon coast.

A white painted bike

I remember driving the country roads through a small town passing this pretty storybook house.

Looking back now…

I can see that was when the spark was lit…

bit by bit…

the vision of this beautiful home…

Wind spinner…a gift from my new neighbor💕

A Nantucket set left by previous owner…🌻

These glass door knobs make my heart skip a beat.💕
Guest room…
French doors leading to sitting room…

it’s fascination seemed to follow me…

A touch of whimsy…romance…flowers…an English garden…and naturally stories of other things…

WOW! I didn’t realize you were looking around for a new(‘er) dwelling. This is fabulous! It reminds me more of your pretty So. Cal. cottage. I’m sure you both will appreciate (what appears to be) more space. How exciting!!!

      Hi Donna,
Thank you so much. I will tell Joe. Xox

    • Marcia Ren says:

      Hi Jenny,
Actually I didn’t know I was looking around for another home either. I saw this home when I first moved to the Oregon coast 4 years ago… It wasn’t on the market. (Which was a good thing since I was so on a mission with our sweet beach cottage) Anyway it went on the market in June & we made an offer within 2 days of seeing it. Fortunately our beach cottage in Bandon sold right away. ❌⭕️❌

    Congratulations Marcia
