On a sunny California day this week, my friend’s sister got us into Disneyland. ( Yippee! With a BIG smile)
Springtime is a beautiful time to go. Main Street was gorgeously decorated in my favorite colors.
I had high hopes of thrilling rides, red licorice, and MiCkEy MoUsE ice cream sandwiches. (Another big smile)
While at Disneyland, I started thinking about the analogy of “waiting in lines” and our JoUrNeY in life. The most popular rides seem to be the ones we AlWaYs have to wait to get on. In life sometimes the things we want most…. We must wait for. We wait, and wait, and wait some more. And like the “ride” when we do finally get on….We know it’s been worth the wait. Sometimes, we give up, because the wait is too long.
The AmAzInG thing to me about Disneyland is this. Disneyland would never be here today, if it hadn’t been for one man following his DrEaMs.
MiCkEy MoUsE wouldn’t be here either, and can you ImAgInE the world without DiSnEy or MiCkEy MoUsE? No…. me either.
Walt Disney’s reminder to us:

I’m wondering how you feel about waiting in lines…♡ After a really fun day at Disneyland, I’m starting to have a deeper respect for them. (grin)
