Today, I have a hilarious story to share with you…a day of unexpected turns and laughter that occurred while my husband embarked on his own adventure back East with college friends and family, and I kept the home fires burning with Anastasia & Camille.
As my husband ventured off for his exciting trip…
I decided to make the most of my time back home by planning some fun outings with friends. One of the highlights was an anticipated Garden tour, located quite a distance away from our cozy little town. Eagerly, my friend and I set out on the open road, ready to immerse ourselves in nature’s beauty.
However, fate had a different plan for us that day. As we drove through the countryside, we couldn’t help but notice the absence of signs guiding us to the garden tour. It was then that the realization hit us like a comedic punchline…we had the wrong day! Our excitement turned into amusement, and we couldn’t stop laughing at our misadventure.
With tears of mirth streaming down our cheeks, we pulled off to the side of the picturesque country road, surrounded by vast landscapes and few houses. After composing ourselves, we decided to make the most of the unexpected twist and embrace the spirit of spontaneity. Our next destination became a charming antique shop nearby, and we embarked on a quest to uncover hidden treasures from the past.
Having worked up an appetite, we then headed to a cozy local eatery for a leisurely lunch. As the day unfolded, we couldn’t help but marvel at how a simple garden tour mix up had led us to a day filled with laughter, countryside beauty, and cherished moments with a friend. Our adventures may have diverged from the original plan, but the experiences we gained were nothing short of unforgettable.
So, my dear readers, embrace the twists and turns of life’s adventures, for you never know where laughter and spontaneity will lead you…those moments that make life truly extraordinary!

Oh my goodness!!!!!! I NEVER got mixed up on a day of an event….NOT!!!!! I missed a big graduation party with my daughter as I thought it was Sunday instead of Saturday! When I arrived at the church social hall, NO ONE was there! Yep, I am dressed and ready with my daughter and our gift and hungry too! Ohhhh I was upset and drove to the peoples house close by! They wondered WHY we didnt show!!!!! There was no laughing on my part that day!!!!! PS the day before , the day of the party, I sat and twiddled my thumbs with nothing to do!!!!!! I am glad you and your friend turned this into a fun event after all!!!!!!

Oh, my goodness is right!!! what a funny story you have too! Ha! “they wondered WHY we didn’t show!” that’s so funny! I am glad we share these funny experiences…it’s probably a good thing you don’t live closer…we would be in BIG trouble!!!
