Hi Everyone! Another fabulous DA bookclub gathering here on the coast.
And, we’ve reached the next milestone in the final Season.
Tonight our gathering was at Juanell’s lovely cottage home.
It’s a good thing it was Fat Tuesday too…
Because, I was starving! I surprised everyone and made a scrumptious salad instead of my usual cupcakes.
Oh, I wish you could have joined in the fun.
I’m sure you’d love all the ladies. And, of course I’m not going to spoil anything for you (in case you aren’t caught up in the watching)
However, I must admit Mr. Carson better stop being so critical of his wife’s cooking. Elsie just might be payback worthy.
And, the budding romance between Mary and Henry is quite fun to watch with Tom being somewhat of the chaperone.
I thought it would be fun to see a few glimpses of Mary’s past.

Lady Mary has been adjusting to life as a young widow, but also has had her fair share of admirers. Especially the most recent Mr. Blake
After all, I thought they were having a lot of fun in that pig pen. Or, how about the scene in the kitchen, when Mary scrambled eggs. She SMILED! Looks like pure JOY to me.♡
Oh I almost forgot…. and thought it was quite charming with a dash of romance when Mr. Blake offered his hand to Mary after she slipped in the mud. …Oopsie…
OMG they are SO cute. .. I’m SO glad I’m a vegetarian. ..♡
I think they might be discussing the next plan. …

And weren’t we a ALL impressed when Lady Mary stepped up to the pail….I mean plate (since there wasn’t time to Summons the servants).. and started ferrying water to the little ones.. OH! OH! They were so dehydrated, and needed water ASAP! Poor little piggies. I’m happy they had each other.

This one looks like he just might be charmed by the Lady also… After all dear friend I think there is definitely hope for a little kindness from Lady Mary in the future. As a Downton fan myself I revelled in her lifting a finger other than when she is sipping tea.
With Valentines Day near…I’m thinking this little chocolate dessert just might be perfect….♡
