Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
When I was a teacher, Friday was our classroom “SHARE” day. Kids were allowed to bring “ONE” share item. Sometimes, they would try to sneak in more than one item, and I would have to thank them for sharing…and call on the next child. It’s a good thing, this isn’t the classroom. And, I hope you can visit a while, because today is Friday…and I have L.O.T.S to “SHARE”!
First, I just have to show you ALL the Mother’s Day cards I received from my little kiddos.
Teah’s card had a mixer on it. …she l.O.V.E.S to eat bake.
Okay, so this week has definitely been a work, work, work week. No, I haven’t returned to teaching…and no….didn’t get a real job, or anything like that.(silly, silly)
I’ve just been organizing, and clearing out a few more things around here.
There’s nothing, and I do mean nothing like getting ready for a BIG move….
to get you motivated, and clean out all those things that you have been putting off.
So, this week I conquered round one of clearing out a few bathroom drawers,
and round two for decluttering my main closet area.
I weeded out a few more items of clothing that haven’t been worn in the last year. Sadly, I even found an outfit that I have NEVER worn!
which went right into the donation bag. A few pairs of shoes, and a couple of small handbags. (Btw, our cat Darjeeling isn’t getting donated) (giggle)
I’ve organized toiletries on the top shelves,
then went through each drawer and inventoried what I had, what I used, and what I could get rid of.
It took an afternoon of serious work, and voila! I was finished.
I actually got rid of so much that I ended up with an empty drawer. Wow….that’s amazing! Glad I finished before the weekend, because we have our second Open House scheduled. And, of course I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the right buyer to arrive just in time for a summer move in. Yippee! Wish me luck!
xoxo…
Marcia
Here’s a “SHARE” day in the life of my decluttering!
