Happy Friday! How was your week? I’m hoping that you had a wonderful one.♡Is it me, or is this year sort of passing by quickly? Summer is almost here.
In just a few short weeks I will have been “retired” from teaching for three years. Now, that is AmAzINg to me! It’s funny too, because I never, ever, ever, liked the word “retired” However, time does have a way of changing things. (Big smile)
Psssst.. and, can I share a little secret? The reason I didn’t really like the word “retired” was because I thought I looked too young. (giggle, giggle) Isn’t that silly. Well, sometimes, I’m just a silly, silly, girl. Oh….Well, anyway… Back to my post about my adorable walking companions. A retired “schedule” includes daily morning walks with fashionable friends.♡
We all meet up, and decide what path to take for the morning.
I’m pretty impressed with these guys. Don’t you think they are the snazziest dressers ever. Today, they are sporting their Memorial Day attire.
Unfortunately, sometimes we don’t all agree on which way we want to go. And, like in any loving relationship, at times there has to be some compromising, negotiating, and a lot little patience. However, unlike, a year that seems to be speeding by. … These guys are the polar opposite. S-l-o-w doesn’t even begin to describe these fashionistas.

I must say, I think it is most delightful, the way our cat Darjeeling always wants to walk with us.
Sometimes, I’m concerned about her safety. .. But, she seems to be quite aware of what is going on around her.
Okay, I do believe we are on our way! Yippee!
