LiFe iS LiKe A BoX of MaRaThOnS….♡

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

How’s your weekend going so far? Well, I just have to say that I hope it is going GREAT! I have been enjoying all the holiday running around. And, so today I’m planning on a breezy Sunday.

Okay, so you’ve GOT to promise never to mention this to my husband. He gets a little annoyed with me, when I brag about him running in 13 marathons  his running. So let’s pretend I didn’t mention it okay… Thanks!
Oh, and wait. .. Just one more thing.  Joe, and I are such the Ying Yang Couple. If I had run even ONE  marathon I’d shout it from the mountain top I’d want the whole, wide, world to know! I’d share it. I guess that’s why I’m the blogger, and he’s the blogger/husband/editor. (except for today) He is the Ying,  I’m the Yang. … or maybe  I’m the Yang,  and he’s the Ying? Oh,  well. ..la-de-da….viva la difference!

The point is that Joe’s the prototype for my walk/running goal.

I “sort” of had a few goals that I wanted to attain for the year.

One was to start “Marcia’s Cottage” blog for JoY, and FuN.
The other was to clean out 5 closets was to minimize my Lifestyle into a more authentic way  to live my life. Pure and Simple.

And, the other was to get in better shape. I felt that the missing link for me was the cardio exercise. I practice yoga daily, have a relatively healthy diet. And, I really wanted to commit to a “program” for exercising.

One that works for me.

So I sought out my husbands advice. After all, someone who has been running for 30 years….w-a-i-t, a second here. He has been running for over 30 years? Wow! I wasn’t even born yet! Amazing~

So, anyway I’m finding that my walk/running commitment is similar to life. There are ups, and downs. I need to do a little every day. It takes discipline, sacrifice, (for me anyway) perseverance, and I definitely need a plan to commit to.

Having a companion helps alot too. Someone
to help keep me focused.

It’s not always easy to stay focused, and commit to something. However, I am finding the my efforts are paying off. I have lots more energy,  and just overall feel better.

Yes, I repeat….there are good days, not so good….ups, and downs. Such is life. Right?

And, like I said I know it will eventually pay off. Actually, it has already because there’s lots of JoY in my life. I’m wondering about you sweet friend. Do you have goals that you would like to attain? Just curious…..(of course)

Thank you for stopping by. Have a lovely Sunday.
                                                                                                                                      xoxo…
                                                                                                                                     Marcia

Endure, and keep yourself for days of HAPPINESS
