Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡How was your weekend? Did you do something special? I hope so!
I just returned from a 3 day Women’s retreat. I always feel so blessed to be able to attend this beautiful weekend. This year my sweet friend Madeline attended. She is 92 years young, and this was her first retreat ever!
Isn’t she adorable. ..♡This photo was taken at the Colonial Kitchen in San Marino. We stopped there before the retreat. Can I tell you a little secret? This was a silent retreat, and when I asked Madeline for permission to share her photo in my blog she said ” Well….Alright, but are you going to tell them that we talked?” (Giggle, giggle) she is such a kick. ♡
She doesn’t know I took this photo of her. I thought it was so gorgeous… Yes she is 92 years young, and attending her FIRST women’s retreat ever! There is something to be admired about that. Talk about stepping out of your comfort zone. Wow…♡ I think she must wear rose colored glasses, because in regards to how she lives her life…. She just ENJOYS every minute.
Over the weekend I heard about JOY, and the importance of focusing on the good things that happens in our lives. And that we are able to see the light of beauty with our spiritual vision. It’s not that we aren’t aware of the bad, scary things in life, we just don’t let FEAR get in our way… and of course we focus on the good. Is that bad? I think it’s good!
Ok… time to give a plug for PINK. Pink gives pizazz! A little pink never hurt anyone…It can turn a ordinary day into a sweet day.♡
A little pink can keep you from feeling blue too.
And as a “former” fashionista (grin) we know that a little pink, little Louis Vouiton is like a Springtime in Paris.♡
Alright its settled, I’m taking out my rose colored glasses because, the truth is that when we change the way we look at things. The things we look at changes. ♡
Thank you for stopping by today. I hope you enjoyed your visit. Have a pinklicious day my friend.♡
Xoxo. ..
