The holiday season brings with it not only the crisp winter air but also the joyous task of transforming our living spaces into festive havens.
In this series, I’ll be taking you on a journey through our home, starting with the heart of it all…the living room.
Little did I know that the centerpiece of our living room would almost be cast aside. I stumbled upon a forgotten Christmas tree, thinking it had surrendered to the passage of time.
However, what transpired was a delightful surprise…it was the perfect fit for our living room.
My vision for the living room was one of elegance, a welcoming space that exudes warmth as you enter our home. To achieve this, I opted for a color palette dominated by gold and silver, carefully selecting ornaments that echoed these tones.
The tree, adorned with a variety of gold, silver, and mauve colored bulbs, became a canvas for my holiday vision.
In addition to the bulbs, I incorporated a mix of decorative picks and ornaments in different sizes. The variety added depth and texture to the tree, creating a visually appealing display. The beauty lay in the details, as each ornament played a crucial role in crafting the overall aesthetic.
What started as a humbling discovery transformed into a creative endeavor. The living room, now aglow with the soft twinkle of lights and the shimmer of metallic ornaments, has become a welcoming sanctuary for family and friends alike.
