Happy Fall! Just kidding. …I know it’s still summer, and really Thursday. Sometimes, I like to tease. (grin) So….Happy Thursday gentle reader.♡
Lately, the weather seems to be in a teasing mood too….especially for August. Welcoming the day with delightfully cool mornings. And, so I decided to pretend that it was Fall. I love the Fall. Well, actually I love Summer, Winter, and Spring too… it’s just that, I am planning on doing a little Back to School shopping today. Looking only. ..Since school will be starting again soon…
Remember the first day back at school after having the glorious summer off? The smell of freshly covered notebooks, and sharpened pencils would be in the air. Your friends and classmates would be chatting animatedly away about their vacation adventures, new backpacks, and especially new outfits! Now that is what I really miss about going back to school. I so loved going shopping for Back to School stuff.
The circumstances may be a little different now that I’m all grown up (well, sort of) but I do love the atmosphere, and the feeling that comes when I step onto a college, or university campus And, that is one of the reasons, I thought it was a good idea for me to return to school.
I also want a new fall wardrobe have wanted to return to school just for fun, and also as an adventure.
Art, Music, Photography, Cooking, Design classes..actually, there’s quite a variety of artsy
things to discover, and learn more about.
And, a walk through any of these areas boasts excitement for me. Btw… You don’t necessarily need to “return” to school. The adventure of learning can happen anywhere. So, how about you sweet friend… Any chance you are planning on a little Back to School shopping too? …*wink
