ThE ReAsOnS We ArE HeRe….LoVe AnD JoY….♡

Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Did you do something fun?Depending on where you live…you were probably working hard at staying cool. And of course I’m hoping you succeeded…..of course.

If I were to be perfectly honest with you dear reader, I suppose I’d have to admit that experiencing three digit weather days, are NOT really my cup of tea. How about you….

I don’t enjoy running an air conditioner 24/7. And, I’d certainly rather breath fresh air, over forced….even if it is ~~way too hot!~~ warm.

So, yesterday morning after a few days of ~~extreme~~ heat, and a ~~poopie attitude~~ very early morning church service, I realized I needed an attitude adjustment. So I decided to take a morning stroll.
It was very quiet where I live…and so pretty to walk through a sweet narrow little path.

It felt like I was out in the country. A very magical walk…one that I take quite frequently. Well, actually almost daily. Okay, since I’m being perfectly honest….it’s a daily walk. (grin)

I enjoying taking Cami, and sitting on the outside brick area sipping my ice tea.

Of course Cami and I are wearing matching outfits. sweet….

I think about my past week, about my day, and kind of sort of plan for the week ahead…and always reflelct about all the reasons I am so grateful. To be able to experience all these wonderful things in life. Pure love, and joy.

I don’t ever want to take any of them for granted. Not ever.

And of course I know that I’m a very lucky lady. I also find that when I take time to reflect about life….simple everyday pleasures, that are so easy to take for granted. Things that I’m grateful for….good health, loving family/friends, of course my animals, of course.

And, then when I have adjusted my attitude enough, I often leave this beautiful place feeling grateful for the ~~extreme heat~~ warm, summer heat too. Sometimes.
