Since moving to the coast I’ve made a few friends.
We’ve exchanged having tea at one another’s home. These new friends have helped me in my adjustment.
It’s almost a definition of friendship. Friends help friends. It’s so nice to have a friend when you need a listening ear, or loving hand.
To have a friend, we must be a friend. Someone’s waiting for you to invite them over for a special tea visit today. Keep it simple. Pick up a ready made scone mix, heat some water and call a friend over for tea!
I’m ready. Scones are made and the kettle’s on. Want to come to tea? (grin)
Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage by the Sea. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
Hello my friend. So kind of you to drop by. Yes, I would love to join you for a cuppa. Miss our tea time dates. ♡
Excellent advice. We each need to reach out and connect. It doesn’t happen if you isolate yourself in your house.
Hi Nancy! It is very important to find ways to reach out, especially when you are making new friends. Having tea is a very civilized way to approach it.♡
Well, as soon as our new house is completed I DO plan to have my friends over. But, for now, I meet them once a week or so at our local pastry (Sweet Life Patisserie) shop. Delicious!
Hi Jenny! How nice that you meet up with friends every week. It’s really important to make an effort to get together. I hope your home is making good progress, and that soon you’ll be inviting friends over. ♡
