Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
I woke up sooooo early this morning to finish writing this post.
And, was pleasantly surprised that it was raining. A rainy day is one of my favorite things in the whole wide world.
Well, anyway it sure is great to see you! How was your week? I’m sure that you’ve been busy, busy, and busy! And, of course, I am hoping your having some fun, with a little JoY along the way.
As you have probably noticed, Christmas is my most Joyously favorite time of the year! https://marciascottagebythesea.com/2014/12/advent-girlfriends-and-candycanes/

I L.O.V.E everything about the holidays!
I especially enjoy the special time spent at home with my wonderful husband, and our four furry kids..♡
Not to mention the fun, celebratory times with friends. ..
Special parties…
Food. ..
Food. …
Food….
seriously, what’s not to love!
So, I thought it would be fabulously fun to snap up 5 of my fave fun things I did this week, and share them with you!
1.) I guess I should begin with an invitation to my friend Gina’s home for her holiday crafting party…
the gals were asked to choose a craft that we wanted to make…
and then we gathered together while crafting,
meeting new friends, and of course nibbling on yummy food!
2.) Next, my husband and I attended a performance of The Nutcracker.
Personally, I think this is the perfect holiday experience.
I love to see all the energy of the performers
Hey, wait a second…how in the world did that photo get in there!…okay, I guess it’s the hidden ballerina in me. (grin)
Well, anyway it’s just so inspirational to be part of this event. I love how the performers always give their best to the audience.
It’s truly beautiful.
3.) In one of the women’s fellowships I belong to, we learned a little bit more about angels.
A H.e.a.v.e.n.l.y favorite of mine.
4.) Then, mid-week I attended a Christmas Tea
For years, and years I hosted Christmas Teas.
Now, I enjoy celebrating a beautiful Christmas Tea at one of my favorite tearooms in Orange County.
It is called the McCharles House.
If you are looking for a very festive “civilized” (grin) tea experience,
You just might want to check this place out.
5.) And, just yesterday I spent the day at Disneyland!
One of my friends wanted to go
before the schools were out for their break.
Talk about a magical fave!
AND
6.) Ooops….sorry, there’s more. ..
Of course I forgot to mention that in between all these favorite, fabulous, fun, activities….
I would of course sneak in my favorite thing of all time…. baking! And, now dear reader, I’m super curious what were some of YOUR favorite things for the week? Can you name them….please!
One….Two…..Three…
awwwww… come on….try…..*wink *wink
xoxo….
