A Quick Note and Apology🥰

Dear Readers,

I wanted to take a moment to address something unexpected that may have come to your attention recently. As my website has been undergoing some much needed updates by the web designer, 285 posts that date back to my time living in California were accidentally republished. These posts meant to be unpublished as part of the cleanup process, but instead, they went out to all my subscribers.

Initially, I thought it might be best to remove those older post as part of a refresh, but this incident has made me reconsider. Perhaps it’s worth keeping them, as they represent an important part of my journey and history.

I sincerely apologize for any confusion and inconveniences this may have caused. I appreciate your understanding as I work to ensure everything is sorted out. This post might only be up for a few days before I remove it, but I wanted to make sure I address this issue directly with all of you.

Thank you for your continued support and for being part of this journey with me.

Warm regards,

Marcia💗

    Hi there,
I was new to the site being referred to you by Susan who is part of a widow’s group with me and was enjoying your site so much but had to unsubscribe to stop all of these posts.
Hopefully your site will be fixed soon so I can subscribe again. Susan knows how much I didn’t want to leave Oregon and come back to SoCal because you are living my dream but life doesn’t always cooperate. She is excited about seeing you at the reunion. Thank you for letting us know about the glitch because I was going to contact my carrier.

    • Marcia Ren says:

      Dear Karen,
Thank you so much for reaching out for letting me know about your experience with the email sent from my site. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience this caused, especially since you are new to my community. I’m grateful to Susan for referring you, and I’m truly sorry that this issue led to you having to unsubscribe.

In my 13 years of blogging, this is the first time have I’ve encountered an issue like this. I am relieved to share that my web designer has corrected it, and everything is now back on track. I sincerely hope that you consider subscribing again now that the problem has been resolved.

I’m also sorry to hear that you had to leave Oregon and return to Southern California. In many ways, I am indeed living my dream here along the Oregon coast, and I hope that one day you’ll be able to return. If you’re ever in the area, please do look me up… It would be wonderful to connect in person!

Thank you again for your understanding and for sharing your thoughts with me. I look forward to welcoming you back to my site whenever you’re ready.

      Warm regards,
      Marcia ❤️
