I wanted to share an update on the bedroom flooring that has been installed these last couple of days. It was not intentional at all when Joe and I ordered the flooring a while back that it would be installed this week. This week marks a special time. A year ago I had made a solo visit to the Oregon coast to see if this is where I wanted to really live. I knew no one, everything was “different” and very unfamiliar to my way of life in So. California. Joe thought I would return home with a change of heart. Much to his surprise I returned home with an affirmation “I’m open to this new adventure! ” “let’s do it!” “If not now then when?” Ha! Ha! I think I even surprised myself.
So anyway I’ve been letting this little cottage (le petite maison) speak it’s soul. And, I’ve been listening.
I must admit there’s been lots of chattering, but I’m feeling a loving connection of the heart.
Dear reader if you are in transition of your own, my biggest advice is to take all the time you need to find your way.
There is no hurry. Be loving and patient with yourself.
Because that’s when those gentle soft voices speak.
