Today I have plans for visiting s a fun little ArTsY shop. I’ve been going there for many years, where the owner knows me on a first name basis.
She also refers to me as the “Bird Lady”.
Because, years ago, I had purchased several WhImSiCaL birdhouses from her.
They were colorful, one of a kind, and very, very, VERY, cute.(of course)
I would use them for decorating.(again…of course)
However, somewhere between the “then”, and “now”, they have become “Real” homes for my little feathered friends.♡
I have come to experience asweet, peaceful, JoY in watching…
the finches,robins, doves, hummingbirds, and even little tiny wren birds come for brunch every morning.
I “think” there’s a total of 8 feeders on our property. Silly me. I lost count.
There are feeders under two of our Arbors.
Iexperience a comforting delight in knowing they are being taken care of. Birds don’t understand the process of getting in the car, going to the store for seed, and then remembering to fill up the feeders.
But, they have learned to be confident that there will always be food for them at our house. What wonderful sweet examples, they are for life. They are great teachers.Those tweet, tweet, little birdies!
