Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
How’s your weekend going? I’m hoping that you are having a wonderful one. ♡
Today, I decided to share about an on-going, little, ordinary, every day conversation, that my husband, and I have been having.♡
I think it all began a few years ago. And, through a series of events I began getting in touch with what I like to call my “Inner French Girl“ (grin)
By that I mean, I’ve been learning how to delight in the small, everyday pleasures of life. Such as, gardening, baking, canning, sewing, walking , bike rides, and enjoying my leisure. You probably wonder if I’m serious. … trust me…. I am very serious. For many months now I’ve been getting rid of things that I no longer need, want, or use. And, because of that,
I’m delightfully Joyful! And, I’ve discovered this wonderful, exciting, new sense of freedom for how I’d like to live my life.
Well. … guess what, I Sort of don’t want my car any more. And, yes. ..My inner French gal is now speaking scooter. My seriously wonderful husband is concerned about all this. It is a little Unfortunate too, because Joe’s French is limited. He doesn’t speak “Inner French Girl”. He thinks that perhaps, this is only a passing, fleeting moment of mine, and that I should just rent a scooter for a while to see if it’s something that will work out for me.
Hmmm….”passing, fleeting moment?” I think not!
So, to make a very long cute story, not so very long.(still cute, however.)
We continue to talk scooter. .
And of course visit the scooter shop.
In this photo, I was explaining to Joe, that I could e~v~e~n place my groceries in the basket.(adorable sigh) You probably think “no way!” Well, once again… My inner French gal shops very healthy these days. Which translates to fresh! No buying in bulk for this (soon to be) French scooter gal. ♡
Anyway, I’m sort of wondering if you ever hear your “Inner French Gal” speaking. ..♡ I’ve found that I’ve had to listen very carefully, because she only whispers at first. ♡
Thank you for stopping by. Enjoy your Sunday
my friend. ♡
Xoxo. ..
