Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
How’s your week going…hope it’s looking better, and better…AnD…..BETTER!
I have been sort of, kind of, planning a GaRdEn TeA PaRtY
the planning is all in my head right right now. A penny for my thoughts?
Well….today is your lucky day! I’m a blogger , so my thoughts are freeeeee…♡ (giggle, giggle)
A little birdie told me to share how to host a GaRdEn TeA with you sweet friend.
First thing you MUST do before you begin is say a little prayer for guidance and gratitude.
AlWaYs….guidance is important in the planning. Gratitude is important since I’m always grateful to have the means in which to host a party…
and grateful for my friends who want to attend.
I have learned this the hard way. And, so I share my wisdom. (grin)
Saying a little prayer is probably a good idea no matter what you are about to do…
but it is essential before hosting a GaRdEn TeA PaRtY. After your little prayer, which btw should always include praying for nice weather…you can start your planning.
Think about who your lucky friends will be, that get to be invited. Go through your stuff, and see if you have some pretty invitations. Perhaps you might even make them. And, don’t forget to choose music for your afternoon.
Get all your dishes together,
PrEtTy ones, FaNcY ones, PlAiN ones…
arrange them all around the table. Plan your meal. Have fun, be creative.
Keep it simple, and you will have plenty of time to add to anything.
Don’t start out with complicated plans. You will only feel overwhelmed, and you might get discouraged. And, I would feel very sad if you got discouraged.(pout) Because, hosting a GardEn TeA PaRty is meant to EnCoUrAgE everyone who comes to have a wonderful time.
And this of course means you too sweet friend. Of course.
