Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
How was your weekend? Did you do anything special…♡ I hope so!
Well, I had an extremely nice weekend. However, it seemed to have flown by. I’m wondering if your weekend flies by also. Friday evening was a nice dinner out Saturday, was a little out of town get away… and now it’s Monday! Wow!
Anyway, I’m enjoying the morning. Here’s a little peek into our garden. For me, the summer, is all about garden living. And, guess what…I think I could write a book, I have SO much to say…. and even more fun, creative ideas.! (Big smile)
For instance, I love having fountains in the garden. I think the water element brings a wonderful sense of peace, and serenity. It’s very calming. I might have told you this already (sorry) but, this particular fountain was a gift from a student of mine. I must tell you, I was pretty shocked when I received it. Isn’t it beautiful!
I love what is written on it.♡
Here’s another water fountain. I planted flowers in it. I like to change them out seasonally.♡ I’m actually, getting ready to add some new pops of color.
Here’s a bird bath that I added flowers to also.
This bird bath usually attracts quite a few feathered friends. … Unless our cat Darjeeling
frightens them away.
And, just recently this bird bath was added to our garden. I have a gardening can that all loose change goes into. And, when it’s filled, I purchase something for the garden.♡Of course, this is what I chose.♡
I’m thinking I might try making my next bird bath.
Isn’t this a clever idea…..It was made with a vase, plate, and bowl. Oh, just in case you would like to see more Cottage garden ideas, you might check out my Garden, and Cottage Garden boards on www.pinterest.com “Marcia’s Cottage”
Well, I guess I better get going… the garden is calling.♡
Thank you for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed your visit. Have a lovely day my friend, and of course a wonderful week. ♡
Xoxo. ..
Marcia
