Well, it’s a little strange to think that it is already Thursday.♡ I have “sort” of been getting ready for a women’s luncheon that I’m planning to host in just a few days. However, I must admit the Cottage Garden keeps calling out to me.♡
I’m in love with the warmth of summer. It gives me an excuse (not that I need one) to get up with the birdies, go outside, listen to nature, and p~l~a~y.
Some people speak of the need to get away “from it all”…
There’s really no need for me to pack my bags for a getaway…
I just follow these delightful stone steps to renew my spirit.
My little garden is a place, where I can practice gratitude, celebration, reflection, and more. I always find sweet comfort here.
On my garden porch, I have several vintage items, a few potted plants. ..several things from very expensive boutiques, (cringe) and others from flea markets.
Anything I can find to create an old fashioned charm like look. Did you know that an “old fashioned charm” look is what creates vintage. ..♡ What I love most about the vintage look, is that nothing has to be perfect.
Sometimes when people ask me what my decorating style is….I say “vintage, romantic, shabby chic, country, romantic, beach cottage, cottage cabin” and, of course sometimes I get funny looks. But that’s ok. (Grin)
Perhaps, I will have the women’s luncheon on our porch….♡
