Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
Happy Saturday! Well…. if you live in Southern California, summer is still very much in season right now. So, don’t pack those swimsuits away just yet….(grin)
Okay, Sooooooooo….what’s your Saturday fun happening?
I hope you had a great week, and that your weekend calendar includes rest, fun, good food, rest, fun, and really good food. Repeat the really good food part.
My week was eventful. Later today I’m heading out to an Hawaiian Themed luncheon at a friends home. Sooooo excited! Of course, I’m planning on taking lots of photos when no one is looking too. Of course.
Well, this last week I recieved quite a few comments on several of my posts. Woo! Hoo! https://marciascottagebythesea.com/2014/09/how-to-host-lovely-garden-tea-partygrin_18/ It seems like my dear readers are liking tea parties, and are ready to decorate for Fall.
https://marciascottagebythesea.com/2014/09/dancing-with-fa/ I promise to post more pictures of both in the future. Unfortunately, my wonderful, adoring, charming husband Joe is my main man for most the photography….and he feels his day job is more important right now.silly, Joe. (grin)
Anyway, what I am excited to brag about share with you is how I got through the summer wardrobe challenge.
Early summer I ran a post about dressing with less.https://marciascottagebythesea.com/2014/07/what-to-wear_8/ Wait, a second that’s not quite what I meant.
I meant how I’m learning how to create more outfits with less clothes. hmmmmm....that still sounds a little awkward. Anyway, I made it through all the summer fun with purchasing
Oh, wait I forgot about a new little purse, and a summer skirt, oh, oh, oh, and a pretty black sort of dressy top. Okay, now that is pretty darn good.
And, I mixed and matched all summer long. And, now I’m putting together ideas for the Fall.
Trust me, it works. So, that’s my Saturday posty brag. I’ve come a long waaaaaaayyyyyyy ……♡
Xoxo…
Marcia
