Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage. I hope you had a wonderful Christmas, and are now relaxing.. And enjoying some time with your family. ♡I know that’s what I’ll be doing. I have to tell you that I will be listening to Christmas music until 2014. I don’t know about you my friend, but this has been the most JOYFUL December month for me ever!♡
As a matter of fact, I am actually looking forward to another little get together this evening. We have invited a few friends, and family over for a dinner. Nothing grand. A very simple little get together.♡Really, really simple.
I’m off to deliver some homemade chocolate chip cookies to a neighbor, and then a little grocery shopping for our dinner. Joe said he is exhausted, and wonders where I get all my energy. I told him I LOVE Christmas time! After all it only comes once a year. (Big smile)
Trust me it’s a low key, no hassle get together.
I’m planning on a meatless spaghetti. .
Dinner rolls. . Ummm.. with LOTS of butter.♡

Deviled eggs. .. do you like deviled eggs? I love them. Here is a great recipe I found. ..♡

Dessert will be…. Oh no!!! It looks like I forgot about that I better hit the road. I guess I have to see what I can come up with. I know that a dear friend is bringing some yummy cookies… And If you have tasted her baking you would know that’s a great start…♡ Now that I’m thinking about it, perhaps I’ll bake Molasses cookies. ..I love the homey Smell when you enter the Cottage. ♡

Oh one more thing… I thought I might try this on our Patio in the Spring. ..I lOvE creating rooms. I think they are so inviting. .. And I LOVE inviting. This looks very doable. Something to look forward to.♡Oh yes, I think we should always have some little thing to look forward to. What do you think my friend. .. What simple life pleasures are calling out to you for 2014?

Wow. ..and, now….yet another year has passed. So many wonderful things to look forward to in 2015. Hopefully, this time next year I’ll be writing to you from our little cottage by the sea, along the Pacific Northwest….Blessings dear friend.
