Let’s do this thing. ..♡
My husband is great. Being that we just recently returned from the East Coast…no sooner had we put our baggage down, I asked Joe to run to the market and purchase a large pumpkin…and then carve it QUICK! Ha! What a guy!

A Quintessentially Coastal Halloween…
Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage by the Sea. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡ Hey, I bet you didn’t think you’d see me so soon! But, what the heck it’s Halloween, and my first time experiencing it on this beautiful coast of mine. (Well, not exactly mine) One of my neighbors told me that there’s often a storm on the weekend of Halloween. I don’t know if that is true, however it sure is true today. As I write this post it’s too early for treaters as yet. … Read the full blog post

A place to hang your hat
Not to long ago one of my friends introduced me to someone who does wonderful woodwork. He agreed to build a shelf for me. I wanted something simple to hang a hat, coat, or scarf on, when the weather gets cold. I drew a picture of what I had in mind. It’s all complete, and I’m so happy with how it turned out.

Having received a Bachelor of Science degree in “Child Development ” might explain why I have always been intriqued with how things effect us. Case in point. Now that I’m living on the coast, it appears that my favorite color has become blue. Hmmmm… Blue is my new pink! Perhaps, it’s also just a little more fun to be creative… and change things up occasionally.

A Sunday Breakfast
One of the reasons I enjoy cooking, and baking, is that I know what ingredients are used. And, I do prefer using fresh, and organic ingredients. Today, I whipped up a few potatoes, eggs/cheese, and mini size pancakes. Bon’apetit!
