Soup Kitchen

Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage by the Sea. I’m so happy to see you today my friend. Shall we have a little tea.

Today on the coast it was blizzardy, raining, and windy.

I met up with a few of my Wednesday GF’s.

I decided to call them that since we agreed to get together on Wednesdays for a meet, and chat.

We laughed a lot about the rain.  Ha! Ha! When I returned home I made a beautiful,  yummy pot of soup.

It’s sort of my own recipe. I gather all my •favorite veggies…wash, cut, slice, & chop.

Saute a small amount of garlic,  and onion.

Then add the veggies continuing to saute them.

Add 6-8 cups of water, 1 small can tomato paste, a cup of lentils, and one cup pasta. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for one hour.

Sounds like a great tasty soup! Will definitely try it. Is that a Mary Englebreit tea kettle??? Love her work and have some items but sure missed the tea kettle if it is one of her designs!

Hi Nancy! it’s a MacKenzie~Child’s tea kettle. There’s a cute story behind it that I will post sometime. I do live Mary Engle Breit too. Lots of fun checkerboard designs. The soup is yummy, and easy, and perfect for a cold day. It’s a cozy soup. Have a good weekend. ♡
