I have always enjoyed bananas. How about you?
This last episode of Downton Abbey reminded me of bananas. There were quite a few crazy things going on. Perhaps, I should bake up banana bread. Any chance you have a great banana recipe that you’d like to share? Please post it if you do.
Bananas came into play during this last episode…no worries, I’m not going to spoil it for you. However, I am sorry to have to spoil the fun, but there is only one episode left of Downton Abbey. It is the traditional 2 hour Christmas special that I have come to love over the years. This one will be bittersweet. So, mark your pretty calendars, and bring out your good silverware, the finale is March 6, 2016.
It also happens to be the week of Cami’s birthday. So, thanks PBS for making Cami’s year! This week the DA bookclub was held at Lani’s adorable cottage. Unfortunately, due to a previous commitment I was unable to attend. However, here’s a tour of her lovely home that I posted during Christmashttps://marciascottagebythesea.com/christmas-on-the-coast/
And,of course I do have several fave parts from this episode. I’ll share a teeny part of one.
Since I’m a Tea Lady, I loved how the Crawley’s stepped in to assist Mrs. Patmore’s Bed & Breakfast with Afternoon tea. That is all I’ll say about that, and instead share a delicious scone recipe I recently baked when our friend Jeff visited from California.https://marciascottagebythesea.com/cranberry-scones/
Hope your having a great week so far!
Thank you for another wonderful post! Sad to see Downton Abbey come to an end!
