A Wonderful Visit

Thought I’d drop in on this beautiful Sunday evening.

Our friend Jeff left a few hours ago. We had a fabulous weekend.

He arrived on Friday evening,  so we decided to go out for dinner.

I had prepared a huge pot of lentil vegetable soup. However,  he preferred treating us. That’s the kind of guy he is.  Anyway, we stayed up past everyone’s bedtime chatting away.

Saturday morning I had prepared cranberry scones, then we had lunch at Facerock creamery.

We also invited our other friends to join us.

Of course we shared our beautiful coast and took Jeff for a walk along the beach.

He said that Oregon coast is now his favorite coast.

We also drove to the fabulous Shore Acres in Charleston. Our weekend passed quickly.

This morning we enjoyed a breakfast together, and again our friends joined us.

This evening I’m feeling so satisfied for special friendships.

Now it’s time to go get ready for Downton Abbey. I think I’ll put the kettle on for a little tea.
