Hello, Welcome to Marcia’s Cottage by the Sea. ♡ I’m so happy to see you today my friend. ♡ Shall we have a little tea. ♡
Well, I don’t usually write a Saturday evening post.
However, one of my California girlfriends sent me these photos from a tea party that I missed.
The party was yesterday. (Friday)
I sure would have loved to have flown in for the weekend and surprise everyone!
But, the timing didn’t work out.
I’ve been busily painting 3 rooms in our seaside coastal cottage in preparation for flooring that is due to be installed early next week.
A little getaway would have been so intoxicating.
That sounds funny but you get the point.
As I upload these photos I can’t help but think how lucky I am to have been invited to this party with my California friends.
It’s nice to know they haven’t forgotten me. …..yet.
They are former colleagues of mine when I was a teacher in Southern California.
I’ve known them for more than 25 years. However, they have known one another for even longer. Isn’t that amazing!
So anyway I thought I’d share this special day with you.

I know how you feel. I moved to North Carolina 11 years ago from Southern California and I miss it every day, especially my friends that I grew up with. I hope you will adjust soon.
Hi Regina! So nice to see you here. Yes, whenever we make a change in life there’s always the adjustment that comes with it. There’s a big difference in the pace of life here, and that is something I LOVE! And, of course the beauty is unsurmountable. Hope to see you again. ♡
