Amidst the twinkling lights and festive ornaments, decorating for the holidays becomes a joyous symphony, of tradition and creativity…
– Marcia
Welcome back to my Christmas decorating series! In part one, we explored the elegant transformation of my living room into a festive haven.
Today, join me as we step into the world of our dining alcove, where whimsy meets tradition.
In this space I’ve created a cozy haven for the holidays. Two slender Christmas trees stand sentinel…one by the expansive window, the other gracing the French door window.
The first tree, a whimsical ode to Santa, is adorned with Dollar Store finds, a string of Santa faces, and a gleaming garland adorned with petite candy canes.
Black and white checkered ornaments, reminiscent of tiny presents, add a touch of sophistication, tying into my cherished MacKenzie Childs collection that graces the nearby kitchen.
I also incorporated a charming Hotel-themed gingerbread house, a thoughtful and early Christmas gift from my husband, adding a festive touch to the room’s display.
This space isn’t just about decorations; it’s a place where friends gather for tea, where my husband and I host intimate gatherings throughout the year. The whimsy in the decor mirrors the joy shared in these moments, making it a truly magical space.
Thank you for the next installment of the Christmas Decorating-The Dining Alcove.
