For one week, I’m diving into halloween with spooky decorations and festive flair. A little scare, some treats, and then back to normal!
Marcia💗
October is such a charming time of year for all things cozy and autumnal…but for one week, I let my witchy side out to play! After spending the earlier part of fall indulging in harvest teas, pumpkin picking, and embracing the beauty of autumn, Halloween marks a delightful switch to the scarier (but still fun!) side of the season.
This year, my husband and I are stepping up our Halloween game by volunteering at the local hospital to pass out candy to the kids. I’m especially excited to wear my special little hat…a witch hat that adds just the right amount of festive flair. My husband might not have a hat as fabulous as mine, but he’s in it for the fun and the smiles we’ll be sharing with the children.
In addition to volunteering, I’ve decided to extend the Halloween spirit a little closer to home. For a few days, my vestibule entry will be home to a cheerful jack-o’-lantern, a couple of friendly ghosts, and some treats for my hard-working delivery people…my personal heroes of the year! My postman, UPS driver, and FedEx delivery person have been my lifeline with their reliaable service, so they deserve a sweet thank you as well. It’s my way of saying, “Happy Halloween, and thanks for all you do!”
Of course, after this week of spooky fun, I’ll transition back to my ususal autumn decor as we head ino November, But for now, it’s all about the treats, tricks, and festive mischief that only Halloween can bring!
Your vestibule is very scary and such a treat for your guests!
And I love the jacket!
Hi Jose,
Thank you for stopping by today…Happy Halloween!
