A Sense of Belonging

“The heart wants what it wants.”

Hello, sweet friend...

Joe & I posing for our first photo in front of our new home💕

This week marked two weeks since we moved into our 1927 Cape Cod home…

Newly planted Creeping Jenny…

Dried hydrangeas along with a few Fall items sit on drop leaf table

a home I knew from the moment I walked through the doors…

Experimenting with closing off parlor with french doors

View from the other side…preparing table for a birthday celebration later in week…

It would be the perfect place for sharing special times with family and friends.

Thinking this will make a nice serving tray…

From the first glance I envisioned early morning walks in the neighborhood…

Fall is in the air🍁

Puffy clouds…

Love the chimney…

A home being soulfully cared for…
Are those puffy white clouds following me?🌝
Cami playing hopscotch 🎃

meandering through my garden…

Cami in charge…

Evenings spent in cozy rooms…

The warmth of home
Pretty pumpkin…

a home where countless dreams and memories could be made…

Extra cupcakes for guests to take home…

Yes this home…would be a perfect gathering place.

Late nights spent in rooms that are speaking to me…

That being said…and amongst the fact that I’m still sifting through boxes…unearthing treasures…organizing…(carefully deciding where things will go)…

These arrived from California…from my maid of honor and long time friend Lillian…💕

I am comfortable in these new surroundings…every nook and cranny is becoming familiar… like a blossoming new friendship.

Peering out at night and feeling blessed…

It feels like home…
