Embracing the fall aesthetic, strolling through the pumpkin patch, sipping pumpkin lattes and savoring warm cinnamon treats…autumn’s charm in every moment.

Fall is such a magical time of year, and every October, my husband and I make it a point to check off one of our favorite seasonal bucket list activities…a visit to the pumpkin patch at a beautiful ranch in Allegheny, Oregon. this year was no exception, and though I didn’t go all out with pumpkins like I have in years past, the day was still one to remember.
We started the day with a cozy lunch, warming up with some delicious comfort food before heading over to the ranch. The moment we arrived, I could feel that crisp autumn air that makes fall so special . The landscape was a beautiful blend of golden hues and deep reds, with maple trees standing tall and offering a stunning backdrop for the day’s activities.
One of the highlights was warming up by an outdoor fire pit. It was a chilly day, but the crackling fire was the perfect way to stay cozy and take in the serene surroundings. I even captured a little video of the fire that truly embodies the cozy spirit of fall. We also took a stroll through the pumpkin fields, where people were joyfully picking out the perfect pumpkins to take home. I didn’t go pumpkin-crazy this year, but I did pick up a sweet little sugar pie pumpkin for my neighbor, who loves baking goodies with them.
The ranch itself is a family-friendly place, complete with a petting zoo for the kids, pumpkin spice lattes, and fresh cinnamon donuts that were too good to resist. There’s something about the smell of cinnamon and pumpkins in the air that just makes it feel like autumn has officially arrived. It’s not just about picking out pumpkins…it’s about embracing the entire fall experience, from the beautiful foliage to the festive treats.
We wrapped up the day feeling refreshed, full of fall spirit, and happy to have checked off this beloved tradition once again. Every year, our trip to the pumpkin patch reminds me why I love this season so much…it’s a time to slow down, enjoy the simple pleasures, and make memories with those you love.
With the holidays quickly approaching, my husband and I have an exciting trip planned later this year that we’re both looking forward to. But for now, I’m cherishing these cozy autumn moments before the whirlwind of the holiday season begins.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience of the pumpkin patch with us.
What a delightful experience of color, taste and autumn charm.
I will have to search for a pumpkin patch of my own.
Happy Autumn!!
