2022… The First Week

“I like the dreams of the future better than the history of the past”

Hello, sweet friend…

Happy, HAPPY New Year!

at the end of 2021 I made a promise to myself that 2022 would be the year I embraced with outstretched arms…a joyful, open heart…and more joy (coming from peace, hope & faith)

I began with a gratitude list of all that I’m thankful for… especially being alive! I am breathing…have great energy…and looking forward to a wildly enthusiastic new year.
The year will bring a continued journey of the familiar…unknown experiences…new friends and the discovery of finding a deeper importance of happiness as a way of being.

I accept that I am a work in progress and I’m open to gain knowledge and perspective this year…

sometimes I find that what I think I may think I need…

is actually far from what will truly bring me genuine lasting happiness…

And so…this year I want to practice happiness with my thinking and my actions…

by focusing on the love around me as pure guidance.

Blessings…

What a wonderful reflection for 2022! Focusing on the love that surrounds us.
I really enjoyed your video and the tour of your garden.
Hoping for all good things for you in 2022

I love the optimism that shines out from your comments. I truly wish and hope with all my heart that this will turn out to be true. At 80, I find my optimism is wearing thin as I watch all the craziness and stupidity that seems to be spreading across our country. I applaud you for speaking out and again, truly hope you are a shining light for us.
    Much love.

      Hello, dear kind Nancy…
I’m always so happy to see you and have you drop by for a visit. Have I ever told you that you have inspired me over the years? I remember when you sent me a kind card (while still living in California) I still have it…I admire people who take the time and send a written note.
As corny as this might sound… each morning before my feet touch the floor, I am so grateful for the good and safe night sleep that I have just experienced. Smiling in gratitude for being given another chance to live my best life today.
      Blessings!
