A Quarantined Life…Rose Castle Cottage
Take time to make your soul happy💕 Hello, sweet friends… Slowing down and getting more enjoyment out of everyday life starts where the heart is – at home. I am BLESSED to be in my home environment. I have been blessed in many ways during this time of quarantine to experience this moment in time. A Quarantined Easter
I believe in Christianity as I believe that the sun has risen: not only because I see it, but because by it I see everything else. -C.S.Lewis Hello, sweet friend… Spring is alive in the world… already on trees we see the buds and blossoms… the hope in a future we cannot see yet. This quarantine has been a time for me to focus on what I can do instead of what I can’t…on what could be… verses what isn’t or what I’m afraid of what won’t be again. With Easter just around the corner it seems like this has … Read the full blog post

Spring Forward…A Full Moon…& Pasta
Quiet the mind and the soul will speak-Buddha Hello, sweet friend… There is a physiological stirring that comes… (response to longer days and more sunlight.) I see it as a Divine nudge. One which is giving me the impulse to get outside… with a renewed energy and a spurt of new Hope. I don’t know exactly what to do and sometimes not even clear what to do next… So I might be out in my garden planning… or perhaps I do more exercise…during this time I even yearn for a bit of spring cleaning… keeping busy with all the projects … Read the full blog post

The Sofa That “Almost” Got Stuck in The Door
“Lead from the back and let others believe they are in front” -Nelson Mandela Hello, sweet friends… I hope you are enjoying these last few days of February. A few days ago Joe and I had a brief scare (OK it was me who had the brief scare) when our sofa and chair were delivered. The very kind young delivery man came inside our home and after looking around the doorway openings mentioned that perhaps there would be a problem getting the sofa into the family room. A reassuring Joe suggested that perhaps they go ahead and bring the sofa … Read the full blog post

San Marino, California
Isn’t it funny how day by day nothing changes but when you look back everything is different. – C.S.Lewis Hello, sweet friend… I’m happy to be back home. It has been a difficult week with the loss of our fur baby Cami. Joe and I miss her very much. That being said my time in California was wonderful, and the days shared with my niece… sister… & friends were special. Another highlight was the retreat I attended. This was my 15th year in attendance. The retreat facility borders the neighborhood of San Marino. I recently heard San Marino is an … Read the full blog post
