I’m wondering how your year has started off?

 

Has it started the way you thought, hoped for,  longed for?

Have there be little changes so far? Changes occur one way or another.

Good or bad, happy and sad… Such is life.❤

For myself I’m daily making efforts to be  grateful for EVERYTHING in my life.

There are many things that I could improve in.

I’m taking little steps.  I’m certainly grateful for all the good.  I have SO much love in my life.

This last week I visited a dear friend.

We’ve been very close friends for many years, and have lovingly walked through many highs and lows together.

She’s ALWAYS been there for me.  Now I feel honored to be there for her.

She has been like a sister to me. It’s all about love isn’t it?

And for me I’m practicing to choose joy in all of it.

I anticipate the year ahead with  JOY. 525,600 minutes in a year to celebrate all that is before me with love.  In the good, and not so good there’s always a hand to reach out to with love,  friendship,  and hope. ❤

The story never ends does it.  Never in the life of those we love, and how we can be there for one another.❤

It’s all about love isn’t it.  Just another year to practice this very simple truth.

We measure our life in love.

I’m so very blessed with so much love in my life. ..however, a few things have changed since that post from one year ago. One exciting change is that our California home is now on the market.  So, of course the other is my new word  ADVENTURE

Hi! It’s raining here on the coast. And, I’m discovering that I love rain! Especially, when I can stay at home. I’m heading into the kitchen to bake cupcakes for the Downton Abbey bookclub tonight. Anyway, its been 2 years since I first wrote this post. At that time I hadn’t a clue that I’d be selling our home in California, and living on the Oregon coast! Another season of my life, I think I’ll just continue staying open to it’s possibilities.

I have now been living on this majestic coast for over a year now. This is my second January, and yes it is raining as  I head on out to discover yet another adventure.
