” Find pleasure in the littlest things you do”

Any fun plans for the weekend? I have a suggestion that will turn all or any of your weekend chores into a delightful experience.
Today I’m heading out to a local Farmer’s Market.
wanna join me….
Benefits abound!
There is something so inviting about visiting the outdoor markets.
It was during my first year of retirement that I became very familiar with the local farmers markets in SoCal.
I remember being on a mission to check them all out in the area I lived. There were two weekend markets.
One was held on Friday, another on Saturday. different locations
There was the small Wednesday Market, Thursday Market evening, and the Sunday Market. located by the Tyler Galleria
My favorite most likely was the one held in the downtown area of the city. I often ran into my friends
Just recently the Farmer’s Market where I live started up again.
I enjoy popping in and getting a chance to connect with the local community & often meet new people. old fashion social media
I’m amazed at the wide variety of produce, food, jewelry, and other creative things that people bring to share and sell. not to mention the live music
What basically began as a place for the local farmers to sell their fresh produce has become an opportunity for a unique shopping experience.
I look forward to this wonderful attractive weekly outing. A large indoor area is set up to host the market due to the inclement weather on the coast so no worries if it gets a little chilly or even raining. it’s my mind, body, and spirit lifter
So what are you waiting for? Grab your cart & go treat yourself to something special this weekend.
Cheers!
Thank you for such a wonderful tour of the outdoor markets and the bountiful produce!
I hope I am the first to make a comment!!
Hi Joe yes good for you on being the first comment this week. Thank you
Hello Marcia,
I so enjoyed your tour of all the outdoor markets. What a treasure trove of delights!
I also enjoyed seeing all the beautiful colors of the season… We have a Farmer’s Market here in Corona Del Mar every Saturday morning and it too is a delight of fresh bounty but I have to admit nothing like yours. I think my favorite was the Tea Cart. I could have spent the day there enjoying a cuppa or two. You are just darling in all the photo’s!
Thank you for taking us along on another special little tour of the nooks and crannies of the markets in your area… I hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend which is almost upon us. We are so blessed to be live in such a beautiful country with so much to offer. God bless all those who sacrificed to make it so…. Happy Day to you Marcia and and I so look forward to another darling post from you…. XO Jane
Hi Jane!
I perused a few farmers markets in Corona Del Mar when I was still living in SoCal. Lots of fun! I actually spent most of the time going out on the sand once summer arrived. I would rent an umbrella and spend the day! Today I’m popping over to help out at church for a future rummage sale. Recently when I stopped by to help I found a tea cart that a parishioner had donated. (I put it aside) can’t wait to bring it home. Happy Memorial Day my friend
