We Did It!

Hope you had a great week. Anything fun planned for the weekend? Personally, after this week. ..I’m ready for a l.o.n.g vacation! (grin)

 

It’s pretty amazing to think that it was only one week ago that my husband and I were saying our good-byes to our life in southern California. ..

so we could fulfill our dream of living a simpler, less hectic lifestyle, and moving into our

small cottage on the Oregon coast.  And what’s even more amazing is…we did it!

The above photo was taken in October 2014. At the time, everyone was so excited about the move. 

This is Darjeeling. She is the sweetest thing.  However, she did have a few reservations 

about this move.

 

Especially when she found out about her accommodations.

No doubt she planned on running away,  but changed her mind. F.o.r.t.u.n.a.t.e.l.y.

I have a hunch that Earl might have considered escaping also…

 

Because face it, change can be scary, and up until recently life has been pretty predictable, and comfy for all of us. 

But, then e.v e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. changed

When we finally hit the road

On this exciting adventure…

heading out on this 900 mile road trip.

 

Of course some of us were more excited than others…
