Pumpkin Spice For Your Soul…

🍂Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together…but encourage one another. 🍂

-Hebrews 10:24–25

Hello, sweet friends…

I hope you are well…

This week I pulled out one of my Fall decorating bins…it was fun to sprinkle a little Autumnal around our home…

I am enjoying the mild shift in the weather…

I don’t think there’s anything more beautiful than the colors and tastes of autumn….

This year I’ve committed to pause more and enjoy the moments…

spending more time focusing on that which truly fills my heart and soul…

with beauty and joy

romancing the everyday

🍂👩‍🍳🍂

What’s Cooking…

Fall is my favorite season…it doesn’t get any better than a cool autumn day watching the leaves change colors and sipping a PSL that I whipped up in my sweet cozy kitchen.

Pumpkin Spice Latte

Ingredients

8 ounce milk…(almond/coconut milk)

4 ounce strong coffee or espresso

1 tablespoon maple syrup

1/3 cup pumpkin Puree

1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Whipped Cream

Directions

Combine milk, maple syrup, spices, vanilla and pumpkin purée in a small pan over medium heat until the milk is hot. Once hot, remove from heat and strain. Froth milk in a blender or with a whisk for about 30 seconds. Add some of the hot milk into a mug, then add the espresso or coffee. Top off with additional hot milk mixture top with a bit of whipped cream and a dash of spice. Happy Autumn!🍂

Your charming post is so visually delightful with the autumn colors in your PSL and home decor.
I really like the recipe using the pumpkin purée to add authenticity to the flavor.

Thank you so very much Marcia for sharing this early autumnal info with us all. It certainly is giving me a ‘poke’ and a desire to get going and to do some stuff around here.

As I have gotten older I have discovered, that my mind can develop all sorts of plans and ideas. However, my body then says, “Are you kidding? You really think all that is going to happen? Who do you think you’re kidding?” Can be very frustrating, to say the least.

But, I can always revisit what you have done and accomplished and enjoy it all over again. Thank you again for your infectious spirit!
    Love ya, Nancy
